I can’t recommend them enough. Have been very disappointed in Customer Service with contractors, and these guys are great. Troy was our technician, and he knew what he was doing. Walked me through the entire inspection of our current furnace, and wasn’t in a hurry. He showed me the issues, and made cost saving recommendations along the way. Great service, and I’ll be purchasing a new furnace and ac unit from them. Very glad I came across them online. You won’t regret using Apex.
I wanted to contact you in appreciation of your excellent service reps. As without fail my AC stopped working on a weekend, Sunday, the hottest day of the year so far. I am quite capable of making my own repairs within reason so I knew that the start/run capacitor had trashed itself during the night. I looked in the yellow pages for AC services and called ******** since they were the closest to my residence. I explained my situation and inquired if I could purchase a capacitor from them if I would pick it up at their business on Velp Ave. The explanation I got from their answering service was that they would only make a service call or other maintenance on a weekend is if there was a health risk to one of the occupants! I have often listened to your ads on WTAQ radio so I gave Apex a call and left a phone message. Within less than 5 minutes I received a call back from Jason. After explaining my situation he arranged for me to pick up the capacitor that I needed at another Tech’s home in Bellevue. Not only did I get the right part I needed but after telling my “story” he suggested an additional part that will help in the future. I installed the new parts on my AC and now it works like a dream again. Thank you Apex and your thoughtful associates. You will always be recommended by me.
We were having issues with the air conditioner staying cool enough, so we had requested a service call and were told a technician would be there the following day. Jason arrived on time and in a professional and engaging manner. He promptly set to work AFTER putting on shoe covers to prevent tracking anything in on my freshly cleaned carpets (I appreciated that greatly!). He did not park in our driveway, but on the street so that no one in the household was inconvenienced in any way by his service vehicle. He was SO knowledgeable about every aspect of heating/cooling and the inner workings of the many different systems – from old to the most elite; ours, however is old! He went through the entire checklist of factors that may be affecting the cooling aspect of our unit and made adjustments if needed, all the while ACTUALLY EXPLAINING what he was doing so that I had a better understanding!!! Wow!! He closed the bypass damper, installed a clean filter, checked the freon charge and added what was needed, adjusted the “cool” speed to the optimum setting, whew…..! Additionally, it actually required TWO trips that day because onced he had removed the cover, he found that the unit was frozen up, so he left to keep another customer appointment some distance away, then RETURNED to our house and finished his diagnostic and repair tasks! This was all done for the ONLY ONE $74 DOLLAR SERVICE CALL, the cost of freon ($95 for the 1st lb) and a $10 filter. I couldn’t believe it was so reasonably priced – ALL FOR $188 TOTAL! I was so impressed with Jason, and told him several times how very happy I was to have such a knowledgeable, honest and hard-working technician helping us with the problem. It was only then that he informed me that he was the owner of the company, but he trains ALL his technicians to perform at this level, and to achieve this standard of customer care. We will definitely be calling them when we are in need of a new unit – most likely sooner than later!
Hi Dan, I just wanted you to know that I turned on my new air conditioner for the first time today, and have been running it on low. It works just great!! The house is really comfortable! It is reaching back to my bedroom great! So, Thanks again for everything. You were great to work with!
Our furnace went out on a Friday, Troy was here the next day, even on a Saturday. It was fixed in less than less than one hour and he was so nice! He showed us how to change the filter, what a guy!
I was in need of a large capacitor that went bad in my central air conditioning unit. I try to call Engebos Heating & Cooling, Inc. who I bought the furnace and central AC from but they would not sell me the part. I call around and Apex Heating and Air Conditioning was able to get me the part. Thank you Apex Heating and Air Conditioning. I would recommend Apex do to the fact that they would sell me the part that I needed.
Jason and the Apex crew were professional, on time, and installed a quality furnace and a/c that has had zero issues for 6 years and counting! The old saying is true, “you pay for what you get”. Apex will set you up with perfect combination for your individual need!
Jason quickly ID’d furnace problem and explained exactly how and why furnace was not working. Did some minor adjustments, explained options if this was not a permanent fix. Basically furnace running too hot because it is oversized for house, typically a spring and fall problem, and this did happen last fall too.
Called Apex and within 45 minutes, Troy was at our front door. Friendly, knowledgeable, and informative. Would call them again in a heartbeat.
