I was in need of a large capacitor that went bad in my central air conditioning unit. I try to call Engebos Heating & Cooling, Inc. who I bought the furnace and central AC from but they would not sell me the part. Troy was extremely knowledgeable and surprisingly available to come out and replace a capacitor the same evening I called. He also discovered and corrected an incorrectly set up component on my unit by my prior tech (from Van’s One Hour heating and cooling). As my A/C and furnace are getting older, I’ll definitely look to Apex for replacement soon!

I wanted to contact you in appreciation of your excellent service reps. As without fail my AC stopped working on a weekend, Sunday, the hottest day of the year so far. I am quite capable of making my own repairs within reason so I knew that the start/run capacitor had trashed itself during the night. I looked in the yellow pages for AC services and called ******** since they were the closest to my residence. I explained my situation and inquired if I could purchase a capacitor from them if I would pick it up at their business on Velp Ave. The explanation I got from their answering service was that they would only make a service call or other maintenance on a weekend is if there was a health risk to one of the occupants! I have often listened to your ads on WTAQ radio so I gave Apex a call and left a phone message. Within less than 5 minutes I received a call back from Jason. After explaining my situation he arranged for me to pick up the capacitor that I needed at another Tech’s home in Bellevue. Not only did I get the right part I needed but after telling my “story” he suggested an additional part that will help in the future. I installed the new parts on my AC and now it works like a dream again. Thank you Apex and your thoughtful associates. You will always be recommended by me.
